My little sister, Tahlia, is super artsy. Always thinking about crafts, always imagining what an object would look like in a craft, and always DOING crafts. Inspired by my mom's amazing business, Studio Jewel, she even started her own business called Artz & Partz. Her catalog currently has one item because most things we actually buy from her are custom. She's so cute. I love her!
I found this tissue paper flower she made on the kitchen table today and decided to blog about it. I love flowers. I mean, what girl doesn't? I love getting flowers. I love smelling flowers. And I love looking at flowers. Flowers are truly a special creation created by God for their beautiful appearance and smell. And that's what I urge you to do in the next few weeks. Take a minute to just embrace the flowers and appreciate their beauty! And let me know if you do! :)
There's more than one meaning to what you exhort us to do - and it's a very wise exhortation at that. One SHOULD slow down and "smell the roses", as is so often said. Doing so helps one maintain perspective - keeps things real, so to speak.
